SWEEPSTAKES ENTRY PERIOD:The Samsung Mythic Giveaway ("Sweepstakes") begins at 11:59:01 p.m. Eastern Standard Time ("EST") on February 7, 2010 and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. EST on March 7, 2010 ("Entry Period").
ELIGIBILITY:
Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia age 13 or older at time of entry. Employees of Samsung Telecommunications America, LLC (the "Sponsor") and its respective parent, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotional agencies, dealers, distributors, and any other individual or company involved in the development or execution of the Sweepstakes, and members of their immediate families (i.e., spouse, parent, child, sibling and their respective spouses) and households, whether or not related, are not eligible to enter or win a prize. Sweepstakes is governed by U.S. law and is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited by law.
HOW TO ENTER
Visit http://www.samsungmobileusa.com/Promotions.aspx and follow the onscreen instructions to play the Slalom or Snowboard Challenge ("Games") if desired. An Entrant will be given the opportunity to enter the Sweepstakes after s/he decides to play (or not play) a given Game. To enter the Sweepstakes follow all onscreen instructions to complete and submit your Entry. Limit: One Entry per email address or person per day. All Entries must be received by 11:59:59 p.m. EST on March 7, 2010. Entrants subject to all notices posted online including but not limited to privacy policy. If any entrant attempts to enter the Sweepstakes more than once, then all entries tied back to that entrant will be disqualified. Should a dispute arise regarding the identity of the entrant, the authorized account subscriber of said e-mail account at the time of entry will be considered the entrant. "Authorized account subscriber" as it relates to email is defined as the natural person who is assigned an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, on-line service provider or other organization, which is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. Illegible or mechanically reproduced entries are not eligible. All entries and requests become Sponsor's property and will not be returned or acknowledged.
PRIZES & ODDS OF WINNING:
Four (4) Prizes will be awarded. Prize and its Approximate Retail Value ("ARV"): One (1) Samsung Mythic Phone: ARV: $299 each. Maximum ARV of all prizes: $1,196. Odds of winning depend on number of eligible entries received during the Entry Period.
If prize is unavailable, Sponsor will substitute prize with one of equal or greater value at its sole discretion. Prize is non-assignable and non-transferable except to a surviving spouse. Prize is not redeemable for cash. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission (except where prohibited by law) to use each winner's name, prize won, hometown, likeness, photograph, voice, address (city and state) and biographical information for purposes of advertising, online posting, promotion and publicity without additional compensation. All prizes are guaranteed to be awarded, assuming a sufficient number of entries are received. Any other incidental expenses or options on prizes not specified herein, including cellular telephone service/subscriptions, are not included and are each winner's sole responsibility.
WINNER SELECTION:
Winners will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries received during the Entry Period. A random drawing will be conducted on or about March 22, 2010 by Ventura Associates, Inc., an independent judging organization whose decisions are final and binding. Winners will be notified by email, mail and/or telephone. Two attempts will be made to contact the potential winners within a five (5) day period. If the potential winner fails to respond within the five (5) day period, or if the mail attempt is consistently returned as undeliverable or if any prize notification or prize is returned as undeliverable, it will result in disqualification, and the corresponding prize will be awarded to an alternate winner in a separate random drawing. A potential winner may be required to provide Sponsor with proof that he/she is the authorized account holder of the e-mail address associated with the entry. Winners may be required to complete, sign, notarize and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Release of Liability and Publicity Release (where permissible by law) (collectively "Affidavit") within fourteen (14) days of date specified on notification, via the overnight envelope that will be provided to winner, or he/she will be disqualified and an alternate winner will be selected in a separate random drawing. Sponsor is not responsible for prize notifications/affidavit(s) that are misdirected or not received. The Sponsor reserves the right to modify the notification procedures in connection with the selection of alternate winner. If a winner is otherwise eligible under these Official Rules, but is nevertheless deemed a minor in his or her state of primary residence, the Affidavit/Release must be signed by the parent or legal guardian on minor's behalf. Prize will be awarded within approximately 30 days after winner verification.

BY PARTICIPATING IN THIS SWEEPSTAKES, YOU (AND, IF YOU ARE A MINOR, YOUR PARENT OR LEGAL GUARDIAN) ACCEPT ALL RISK AND CONSEQUENCES OF ENTRY AND PARTICIPATION IN THIS SWEEPSTAKES AND AGREE TO RELEASE AND HOLD HARMLESS THE SPONSOR AND ALL ENTITIES INVOLVED IN THE SWEEPSTAKES ("PROMOTIONAL PARTIES") AND THEIR RESPECTIVE OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, SHAREHOLDERS, EMPLOYEES, REPRESENTATIVES, AGENTS, SUCCESSORS AND ASSIGNS FROM ANY AND ALL CONSEQUENCES, LIABILITY, LOSSES, DAMAGES (INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, INCIDENTIAL, SPECIAL OR INCREASED DAMAGES AND THOSE RELATED TO PERSONAL INJURY, DEATH OR DAMAGE TO PROPERTY) AND COSTS AND EXPENSES, OF ANY KIND, UNDER ANY LEGAL THEORY, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THIS SWEEPSTAKES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO YOUR ENTRY AND PARTICIPATION IN THE SWEEPSTAKES. THE ACCEPTANCE AND/OR USE (OR MISUSE) OF ANY PRIZE, PRINTING ERRORS AND ANY CLAIMS BASED UPON THE RIGHTS OF PUBLICITY AND INVASION OF PRIVACY, EVEN IF ONE OR MORE OF THE PROMOTION PARTIES OR ANY OF THE OTHER RELEASED PARTIES WERE AWARE OF THE POSSIBILITY OF ANY SUCH CONSEQUENCES, LOSSES, DAMAGES, ETC. WITHOUT LIMITING THE FOREGOING, YOU (AND, IF YOU ARE A MINOR, YOUR PARENT OR LEGAL GUARDIAN) FURTHER AGREE THAT NEITHER SPONSOR OR ITS AFFILIATES, PRIZE SUPPLIERS, AND THEIR RESPECTIVE OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, SHAREHOLDERS, EMPLOYEES, REPRESENTATIVES, AGENTS, SUCCESSORS AND ASSIGNS, SHALL BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES, LOSSES, COSTS OR EXPENSES, OF ANY KIND, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO CIRCUMSTANCES BEYOND THE REASONABLE CONTROL OF SPONSOR, PROMOTIONAL PARTIES NOR THEIR AFFILIATES, PRIZE SUPPLIERS, AND THEIR RESPECTIVE REPRESENTATIVES AND AGENTS, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ACTS OF GOD, ACTS OF GOVERNMENT, ACTS OF TERROR, ACTS OF WAR, CIVIL UNREST, LABOR SHORTAGES AND/OR STRIKES, EVEN IF ANY ONE OR MORE OF THE PROMOTION PARTIES OR ANY OF THE OTHER RELEASED PARTIES WERE AWARE OF THE POSSIBILITY OF ANY SUCH EVENTS OCCURING.
MISCELLANEOUS:
By participating in the Sweepstakes, entrants (i) agree to be bound by these Official Rules, including all eligibility requirements; and (ii) agree to be bound by the decisions of Sponsor and the independent judging organization, which are final and binding in all matters relating to the Sweepstakes. Failure to comply with these Official Rules may result in disqualification from the Sweepstakes. Sponsor reserves the right to: (i) permanently disqualify from any sweepstakes it sponsors any person it believes has intentionally violated these Official Rules; and/or (ii) cancel the Sweepstakes if it becomes technically corrupted (including if a computer virus or system malfunction inalterably impairs its ability to conduct the Sweepstakes), and to select winners from among all eligible entries received prior to withdrawal or cancellation.
Entry materials/data that have been tampered with or altered, or mass entries or entries generated by a script, macro or use of automated devices are void. The Sponsor and its respective affiliates, parent, subsidiaries or agents are not responsible for: (i) late, lost, incomplete, mechanically reproduced, stolen, misdirected, damaged, impermissible entries or any other error whether human, mechanical or electronic; or (ii) error, omission, i nterruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alterations of entry materials, or for technical, network, telephone equipment or carrier/network, electronic, computer, hardware or software malfunctions of any kind, or inaccurate transmission of or failure to receive entry information by Sponsor on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the telephone carrier's system, Internet or at any web site or any combination thereof; or (iii) any injury or damage to entrant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from participating in the Sweepstakes.
